Chile celebrates its Bicentennial

This year 2010, Chile commemorates its Bicentennial: a celebration of 200 years living as a Republic. Two centuries since the beginning of the Independence process, launched by the realization of the First National Governing Broad, on September 18th, 1810.

The celebration includes several cultural activities, such as the traditional Army and Navy Parades, musical galas, marching and floats, and the famous "Ramadas", where people gather to share typical Chilean meals and delicious wines.

The Bicentennial is an important date, a reason to celebrate what we have achieved as a nation in these 200 years. It´s a great opportunity to be proud of who we are.

Viña San Pedro greets all Chileans in this Bicentennial. Viva Chile!
