Variety:
100% Riesling.
Origin:
this wine is made of grapes stemming from Viña San Pedro’s vineyards of Riesling in the Curicó Valley. The vines are trellised to a vertical shoot and drip irrigated.
Harvest:
the grapes were hand-picked, in 15 Kg boxes, on two separated dates. The first part, on March 24th, corresponding to 92% of total end-mixture, and which contributed with freshness, fruit and vivacity. Remaining 8% was harvested the second week of May, adding a higher level of complexity and sweetness on the palate. Vineyard’s yield was 10 tons/ha.
Vinification:
the grapes were pressed directly. Alcoholic fermentation took place with selected yeasts and controlled temperatures between 13.5°C and 14.5°C, during 24 days. The must aged 4 months in used French oak barrels to provide the wine with some evolution.

Tasting Notes:
Color: pale yellow, clean and bright.
Aroma: presents a fresh and, at the same time, perfumed nose, filled with fresh fruits, citric and flower aromas, with outstanding grapefruit, lime, apple and apricot, interlaced with subtle caramel notes, which add complexity.
Palate: fresh, fruity and well-balanced, oily and with good acidity, a great middle body, mineral notes and persistent finish.
Food & Wine Pairing:
ideal as an aperitif, with fish and shellfish. Serve cold, best at 10°C (50°F).
