San Pedro launches new Bi-Valley concept of 35°South in Venezuela and Colombia with Winemaker’s and Export Manager’s promotional tour.

During October, Viña San Pedro presented the new Bi-Valley concept within the Reserve line of its brand 35°South, in two of its most important markets in Latin America. This through an intense promotional tour of our Winemaker of Varietal and Reserve Wines, Miguel Rencoret, and the Export Manager, Pablo Acevedo.

In Venezuela, the launching was organized by San Pedro and its importer, Tamayo, during October 5th and 9th, when our representatives visited the cities of Valencia, Margarita, Barquisimeto and Caracas, carrying out presentations for specialized media and the main clients.

Then, in Colombia, the launch took place from the 12th to the 16th of October in the cities of Bogotá, Medellin and Cartagena de Indias, with several presentations of our winemaker as well.

The Bi-Valley concept aims to extract the best elements of two separate origins in order to obtain a perfect balance in 35°South wines, combining grapes of two different, complementary valleys, which contribute to each vine with different attributes each and result in a unique character in every variety.

A dedicated selection of only the best grapes, a vinification in smaller tanks, an aging in selected French and American wood, and an exhaustive oenological work, guarantee a top quality expressed in wines of a greater aromatic concentration and pleasant structure in the red wines, and with a larger volume on the palate, freshness and aromatic intensity in white ones.

The line Reserve Bi-valley offers a Shiraz elaborated with fruit stemming from the Elqui and Aconcagua valleys, a Carmenere from the Maule and Rapel valleys, a Merlot from Maule and Maipo, a Cabernet Sauvignon from Maipo and Aconcagua, a Sauvignon Blanc from Curicó and Elqui and a Chardonnay from Rapel and the southernmost frontier of Chilean viticulture, the Bío-Bío Valley.

This launching had a wide-ranging coverage from the media, being published in the main papers, blogs and specialized web sites from the visited cities.
