Two Silver Medals for Castillo de Molina Reserva Pinot Noir in the “Wines of the Year” competition Finland 2018
The results were recently revealed for the 21st version of the “Wines of the Year” competition Finland 2018, an annual event in which over 700 wines are tasted across different categories.
On this occasion, Castillo de Molina Reserva Pinot Noir 2016 received two Silver Medals, as it placed second in two categories: the “New World Red Wines below 12 euros” and the “Bag in Box Red Wines”.
The competition judges described the Pinot Noir from Castillo de Molina as a wine which is “ruby-red in color with potent aromas of ripe red fruit, raspberry and blueberry. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied with red fruit and toasted flavors, and features smooth, velvety tannins.”
This premium brand, which reflects the diversity of Chilean valleys in its wines, has received important acknowledgements for many years from the Finnish competition, in this way enhancing visibility and strengthening its portfolio in the European country.
