1865 Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 awarded 91 points in Wine Spectator
In the “Our ultimate guide to value” section of the January/February edition of the magazine Wine Spectator, critics selected the world’s finest value for money wines. In it, the 1865 Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 from the Maipo Valley stood out with 91 points.
Viña San Pedro’s acclaimed brand was described by Kim Marcus as “rich and refined, characterized by red plum, forest fruit and raspberry flavors, combined with sandalwood and cardamom notes. Creamy on the palate with a chocolate and dark berry finish”.
The Cabernet Sauvignon, crafted by winemaker Matías Cruzat, placed in 59th position amongst the world’s 100 finest wines and also received the “Smart Buy” acknowledgement in this prestigious US publication.
